It’s in the midst of dark trials that God often seems absent at best and cruel at worst. And it’s underneath their consuming shadow that we often begin to question and doubt His love and goodness.
The elusive art of self-compassion is feared by most and lost on many. Matthew 22:39 tells us that the second greatest commandment is to love others as ourselves. But how many of us can honestly say that we show ourselves the love that we know God expects us to show others?
A little can go a long way when it comes to self-awareness. Self-awareness is a frequently discussed topic on many secular platforms. However, it’s a topic that seems to be forgotten in some Christian circles. But I believe there’s an important conversation to be had about the significance of self-awareness in the life of a Christian.
