INCREASE OUR FAITH

O Lord, increase my faith. Teach me to trust. Help me to depend on You alone.

You are a mighty and loving God. And, Lord, I know that deep in my heart, but my mind doesn’t always think it. My emotions don’t always feel it. And my actions certainly don’t always show it.

Help my unbelief.

I don’t know why doubt continues to spring up within me. You’ve always been faithful. Yet, still, I balk when we must trust You in.

Forgive me.

So, Lord, I come to You today to ask for Your help. Your Word says that Your grace is sufficient, and Your strength in made perfect in weakness. Let it be so.

“Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning,

For in You do I trust;

Cause me to know the way in which I should walk,

For I lift up my soul to You.”

–Psalm 143:8–
