Jesus, please help me. I know I often fall short of the calling You have for me. I recognize my failures, and I see my need of You clearly. Why then do I balk before I turn to You in surrender? It seems that just as I begin to grow closer to You the enemy finds a way to bring me down low once again. Take my thoughts, feelings, and emotions and transform them so that they can be used to accomplish Your will and to bring You glory. Walk alongside me as I strive to place my flesh on the altar each day, and guide me so that I may walk with You in fullness and truth. Amen.
