Thank You for the gift of hope–a gift that You gave when You came to earth in the form of a man. We praise You today.
Jesus, we know that You are the “reason for the season,” but it’s still so easy to get distracted by the endless demands and unreasonable expectations that are present during this time of year.
Please help us.
When we are tempted to focus on ourselves or others’ expectations, remind us of what really matters–You and You alone.
Give us hearts of love and thanksgiving and fill them with the hope, peace, and joy that only You can give.
