Lord, I come to you today asking for forgiveness and restoration. I’ve lost my focus on You, and I’ve allowed insecurity to sweep over me again. Discontentment has permeated my attitude, and I’ve been ungrateful for Your provision. My selfishness and pride have deceived me into thinking that I need something different–something better. Please forgive me. You know what I have need of, and You have never failed to supply. As David asked in Psalm 51, I ask today that you would create a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me.
